- Is my JSON sent anywhere?
- No. It is parsed and formatted by JavaScript in this page, so you can paste configuration and API responses safely.
- Why does my JSON fail when it works in JavaScript?
- JSON is stricter than a JavaScript object: keys need double quotes, strings use double quotes, and trailing commas, comments and single quotes are not allowed. The error shows the first place that breaks a rule.
- Are big numbers kept exactly?
- Numbers above 9,007,199,254,740,991 (2^53 - 1) lose precision, like in any JavaScript parser. If you need exact IDs, keep them as strings.
